Questions
What is a patched app?
It is the official app, taken from the Play Store, with changes built into it: ads removed, or features the original locks away or leaves out switched on. Each build is then signed with our own key so that Android will install it.
Do I keep my account?
Yes. You sign in to a patched app with the account you already have. The original service may still limit or ban an account that uses a modified app, so patched apps are used at your own risk, as our Terms say.
How do I know a build is ours?
Every build is signed with the same key, and the Patched Store app refuses to install anything that is not signed with it. Google Play Protect still shows a warning, because it has not seen our key before.
What does a subscription cover?
Every app in the catalogue, and every new build of it. You get 3 slots: each patched app on each phone uses one, and you can free them from the Subscription page. Browsing the site is free, and you can cancel at any time.
How do updates work?
When a new build is listed, install it over the one you have. Your data stays, because every build is signed with the same key. The Patched Store app lists new builds and updates itself.
